| At Renaissance we have a heart for missions. It is thrilling to be a part of what God is doing in the world. It's healthy for the church to know that our ministry is not just about us, and our immediate community. It's also about what we can do to partner with brothers and sisters of every tribe to advance the work of Christ in the world.
Mexico
God has blessed us with a beautiful relationship with Jay and Joan of the Angels2 Help ministry in Mexico. Each year we gather resources and send down a team to minister. Jay and Joan have recently built a 10,000 foot ministry Center, and Renaissance was able to give a large cash gift, and help paint and prepare the facility for the Lord's use. Please be in prayer for these servants who have devoted themselves to sharing the gospel and ministering to the poor of Mexico.
Kenya
Renaissance is also partnering with Truth Ministries International (TMI). They hold leadership conferences in many nations. In 2005, Pastor Gary went with a team to Kenya. God is doing incredible things in Kenya, and there is tremendous opportunity to train pastors for ministry, and for continued church planting. Please keep Wilson Njue in your prayers as he is planting a church in Mai Mahue.
Asia
Two of our families are engaged in missions work though Ethos Asia Ministries. This is a region where there are high levels of persecution for Christians. In the midst of this burning fire amongst the believers there who are fighting for the souls of the Asian peoples. Please be in prayer for God to bring the light of the gospel to this darkened region.
